Since 2008, an annual meet has been organized every Diwali in the school premises under the title of "SNEHBANDH…. A JNV Wardha Family Reunion".
From last 7 years, the meet is celebrated as 25th anniversary by the batch completing 25 years in the respective year. During this year, batches conduct various programs like Blood Donation & Medical Camp, Plantation, Books Donation, Career guidance seminar, etc. throughout the year.
Like SNEHBANDH, small gatherings are organized in the major cities of Pune, Mumbai and Nagpur in Maharashtra to keep in touch with the local people.
The entire expenditure for all these programs is collected based on individual contributions and balance funds will be transferred to the NAWA account for help purposes.

Supporting Future
Providing support to students of Navodaya Vidyalaya through scholarships or financial aid for their future studies
NAWA is committed to ensuring that students who cannot afford college fees are not deprived of education and hence since 2008 we have started providing financial help to students for their future studies.
Once these benefited students start earning, we expect them to come forward to help others so that this chain of benefits reaches infinity.
It feels good that we have helped over thirty lakhs to more than 50 students in the last 15 years.
Students got this help in early days, have started returning this amount which is further diverted to help someone else.
